This is an example of the books we produce on a pro bono basis, generally charging only for the cost of uploading and printing. We welcome submissions for publication projects that will be of benefit to society, and which can only be produced through charitable means. We do no fund-raising and very little promotion. We see our role simply as providing a bridge between your ideas and the finished product.
Proceeds from sales will be donated to MADD (Canada) and the Canadian Diabetes Association.
This book is in memory of Heather Sadler, who was struck down and left to die at the side of the road in an alcohol related hit and run crash. According to MADD Canada, approximately four people are killed and 175 injured daily in drunk-driving crashes. We do not want impaired drivers on the road! We do not want them to put their keys into the car’s ignition!
This is where the idea for this book came from. Although we wish impaired drivers would lose their car keys—or have some thoughtful person take them away—the rest of us don’t like losing ours. Although not funny at the time, the retelling of the many incredible stories about this very situation often becomes quite humorous! We think readers will enjoy the following collection of lost and found car keys.
